Are you interested in learning about 4-H? There will be a Youth Day, Saturday, March 4th, at Thunder Bay Junior High. The event is from 9:00am until 2:30pm, if you are setting up a club you must arrive at 8:00 am.

4-H youth day is open to any Alpena County 4-H member. The event is open to the public, and there will be a potluck beginning at 12:00pm.

To participate you just have to bring your 4-H project and present it to the judges. After presenting, you will receive a ribbon, if it is an honor ribbon, you’re put in the running for the best project in that category.

One reason to participate in Youth Day is to recognize the hard work of the 4-H members this past year, and winter projects. Another reason is to interview for a chance to win a 4-H Council scholarship that can be used for summer camps or exploration days.
