Farm workers are one of the poorest workers in the U.S. They have bad working conditions, such as heat from the sun, pesticide exposure, and heavy lifting. They risk their safety and health daily

Farming is very hard work. In order to supply the country with fresh produce, they work from sunrise to sunset everyday and prepare before every harvest time. Some farmers even handpick lots of their crops.

It is the great contradiction of our food system. The people who work to feed the U.S. have struggles to feed their own families.

Farm workers are organizing meetings with the people and institutions that can change their hard living and working conditions.
