Administers at Alpena High have decided a new plan for students tardiness. They said it  was time to enforce new rules and regulations for the 2019-2020 school year. To accommodate the student’s needs lunch detentions will be the new discipline when you are tardy.

When tardy once the teacher will sign the student up for a lunch detention that day. Lunch detentions consist of getting lunch and going to an assigned classroom with an administrator, automatic red zone, no talking with friends, and must have homework/something to work on.

Administers made this rule so students who have jobs, activities, sports, etc. wouldn’t miss either one. Now they can serve it in one day and be done with it.
