Appreciation for where you live

Everyone has different opinions about winter, spring, summer, and fall. If you are old enough to choose where you live, you most likely live in an area that best suits your interests. If you are more of a beach person that loves the water and warm weather, you live more down south or maybe the lower half of the west coast. If you’re a four season type person, especially with an interest in the snow, you tend to live in the northern part of the country. When you have found an area that you love, that becomes your home and you stay there. You adapt to the temperatures and what that area offers, which overtime gets a little boring. That’s why no matter where you live, vacations will always sound good to someone. Getting out of your comfort zone and going to a new place to visit with maybe a different lifestyle!

Everyone has heard someone living in the south say, ¨I love the snow, I can´t get enough of it!¨ Or someone from the north, saying, ¨I hate the snow, people who live where it’s warm all year round are so lucky.¨ No matter where you live, I don’t think you will truly appreciate that place until it’s gone, and you are somewhere else. You just get comfortable with your home and wake up to it everyday. Vacations are an amazing thing, but appreciating what your state offers now is something everyone has to work on! When you live in a cold area, it’s natural to wish you could live in a hot place, and vice versa. However… one day it could be gone and you’ll wish you could go back, which is why loving where you’re at right now is so important!
