With technology always advancing, generations of people have learned new ways to do their favorite activities. One of those activities includes shopping!! Shopping online from your own device has many pros and few cons. For example, when you are online shopping, you get to stay in the comfort of your home and look for as long as you want, browsing around a website without anyone else’s judgement. You also can order almost anything on the internet and have it shipped right to your door! Many people prefer online shopping because they don’t have to get ready and plan time to go out shopping, especially with Covid right now. People also still get to shop on days like Black Friday, but without having to be in the crowds of people. Same deals, same items, but a different place. Some people would argue, however, that online shopping is worse. When you find an item you want, you can order it but not receive it that day. On average, it takes about a week, give or take a bit of time to receive a package. Of course, there are options for your order getting to its destination faster if you pay more, but that still takes a couple days. Another negative side is you don’t get to try any clothes on. Most companies do have sizing charts, but if you are looking for a perfect fit, online shopping would not be the way to get it if you are unsure of your sizes. One last con about online shopping is the company you buy from. If you know it’s a good place to shop, then you are perfectly fine, but any random website you find online could very easily be a scam, and putting your credit card information into something you can’t trust can end in an unsafe situation. Overall, everyone has their own ways of doing things… both online shopping and in person shopping is great, but online shopping is more of a convenience for a lot of people!
