Picture Day During a Pandemic

Picture Day During a Pandemic

Ashlynn Brown, Reporter

On Nov. 2, Alpena High School held their School Picture Day while being in a global pandemic. The photo-taking began at 7:35 a.m., when students were dismissed by alphabetical order to go down to the gymnasium. Students were required to wear their masks down to the gym until their photos were taken, and they had to put on their mask while leaving and going back to class. Students who missed pictures in the morning were called to get them taken in 5th hour.

Online students will have their pictures taken on Nov. 23 at the Central Office, where the Lifetouch photographer will be waiting to capture their photos. The Central Office is located 2373 Gordon Road and picture taking will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Parents will need to sign up for appointments that will be five minutes apart, and Lifetouch will share their package size and cost with parents through emails.
