The Alpena Junior Varsity Football team faced Cadillac last night in an exciting game as it was the first Home game of the season. The game started on a chilly fall evening. The lights were bright, the crowd was loud, and the fight was tough. As the fans were bundled up with coats and gloves in the stands, the football team was keeping warm with the first kickoff of the season. By the end of the first half the score was 0-7. Cadillac had scored a touchdown, But Alpena quickly rebutted with a touchdown of their own in the third quarter. The score was now 7-7. In the fourth quarter Cadillac scored another goal and the game ended with a score of 7-14.
