Torn ACL for Volleyball?

Olivia Smith, Reporter

Throughout all the changes this year also came a new challenge for one volleyball player.  A torn ACL has stopped Morgan Krentz’s volleyball season. “It really changes your mindset because you look forward to playing with your team only to learn you have to sit on the bench for the first part of the season.” Morgan is an outside hitter and is only allowed to play travel volleyball this year. “I’ve been going to physical therapy and the gym a couple times a week to make the healing process faster. It still seems like it’s taking forever, though”. As much as Morgan enjoys watching her team take the victories, she cannot wait to get back out there and help out! Any injury to an athlete will affect how they play. It also can affect their attitude towards the game and team. Staying positive is a great lesson to learn from any injury.
