TRiO Talent Search

TRiO Talent Search is a federal grant program funded through the United States Department of Education. TRiO Talent Search programs at Alpena Community College are college access programs funded by the US Department of Education designed to assist the 6th – 12th grader in successfully completing high school, secure financial aid, enroll and complete a post-secondary education program.

TRiO Talent Search (TTS) helps students prepare for college. Students get 1-on-1 meetings with their advisor, can go on college campus visits, and attend workshops. They can also save money on SAT retakes and college applications.

If you’re a 9th-11th grader that is interested in TRiO, you should visit Mrs. Jaime Kurowski in room E103 on Mondays or Wednesdays to learn more about this program. You can also email or call 989.358.7348.
